In July, ACRI Bengaluru organised it's second event which was a Grant Writing Workshop for Culture Professionals. This day-long workshop provided the participants with the perfect opportunity to dust off, brush up, and polish their grant-writing skills.

Anmol Vellani, founder and former executive director of the India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), and the co-founder of Toto Funds the Arts (TFA), facilitated this workshop. The workshop provided an overview of funding opportunities, broke down the components of a well-written grant application, discussed best practices, and examined the process and different approaches to a grant application.

The workshop was geared towards culture professionals who had submitted at least one grant application (either successfully or not) and were looking to hone their skills. The participants needed to submit a grant proposal which they had used in the past along with a one-page summary of the proposal.
