7 March, 2019 | 6.30pm to 8pm at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai
In March, ACRI Mumbai officially launched it's first ever offline event at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai as three arts administrators, former recipients of the prestigious ARThink South Asia Fellowship, shared their experiences in arts administration.
What is it like to engage with the Government while working on a heritage site? How does one fundraise and build India's first ever Ceramic Triennale? Can one sustainably build a training school for Drama students in India? We learnt about all this and more at Building Culture Stories, as Anjani Khanna (Curatorial Team, Indian Ceramics Triennale), Preeti Goel Sanghi (Head of Art, Culture and Heritage, JSW Foundation) and Ragini Singh Khushwaha (Programme Director, Drama School Mumbai) spoke about everything from fundraising and programme development to dealing with the Government.
We were joined by 70 to 75 engaged peers, avid listeners, and the wildly curious, both from within and outside the culture sector in India.
