Presented by ACRI Mumbai Chapter
Networking Mixer
27 August, 2021 | 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm IST | Digital Meeting
The Mumbai chapter of ACRI held a networking mixer on the evening of 27 August in order to bring together professionals across the arts management sector for an informal session, filled with lively discussions and deliberations. With the participation of people with diverse roles, areas of interest, and years of experience, the program was aimed at forming meaningful connections and potential sharing of thoughts and resources within this community. Out of the 14 participants, the majority identified themselves as seekers, looking for new opportunities and ideas while the rest were looking to form collaborations, based on their projects and current requirements. This led to a dynamic and robust hour of conversations with shared playlists as well.
In order to nudge the participants, they were divided into groups, where prompts were provided to break the ice as the discussions were facilitated by the participants themselves. It was ensured that each of them would be able to interact closely with each other. As the opportunities to meet and interact offline have diminished under the current circumstances, such open, digital mixers can help in building a strong sense of community and help professionals seek what they are looking for.
Towards the end of the event, a Networking Directory was formed and shared with contact details of all the participants who consented to the same. This enabled them to continue their collaborative efforts after the event and stay in touch for future purposes as well.
