The August edition of ACRI Chennai’s Next: series - Next: The Chennai Huddle, on 18 August 2021, brought together the city’s creative economy, and explored how creative professionals have been coping through the pandemic in terms of mental health and the uncertainty of reopening.

The aim of the event was to host an informal catch up amongst arts professionals from the city. The discussion started with reopening strategies post lockdown to understand how each participant and the people they worked with were responding to the new changes. The conversation then moved to discover how everyone had become more empathetic and tolerable towards the work from home situation at present. Personal stories and learnings that helped participants through the emotional turmoil of the lockdown were shared. The huddle concluded with each of the panelists sharing personal methods of overcoming the work from home fatigue and hoping to catch up again soon!
